Caloy Libosada

Caloy has been travelling around the Philippines for more than 2 decades, discovering new attractions and helping local government units develop their own tourism development plans.

He started his travel career as a research officer of the Department of Tourism. He visited far-off communities, climbed mountains and explored caves in search of new tourist attractions. Then produced the very first backpacking book written by a Pinoy called, 26 Days Around the Philippines, which unfortunately, is already out of print. Maybe another Pinoy tourist would take on writing a new book out there?

With travel, he also tries hard to take some decent photos of the places he visit. Like this one in El Nido, Palawan.
